Recover your lost Partition

If we are using a windows based system then we generally divide the hard drive into several partition. The primary partition is used for loading operating system. The other logical partitions are used to store data. The benefit of dividing the hard drive into various partitions is that if anything goes wrong with the operating system then it does not affect our data. Sometimes it happens that operating system does not boot up either because of NTLDR goes missing or Boot.ini got corrupted. To repair the operating system we use Restore CD. The restore CD load the operating system again by formatting the partition of the drive. Thus we loose all the data on that partition of the drive. It may also happen that our hard drive crashes and we reload the operating system only finding that other partition of the drive is not accessible. To recover the lost partition we require good data recovery software. Partition recovery process is a significant part of data recovery. The master boot record (MBR) is located on the first sector of the hard drive and is responsible for starting the Windows boot procedure. MBR contains the partition table for the drive as well as a small program called the master boot code, which is responsible for locating the active, or bootable, partition, in the partition table. Once this occurs, the partition boot sector takes over and begins loading Windows.
