This concept has been around for many years. I think the first time I tried it was probably about 10 years ago. It worked fine. The drawback was the lack of CPU power on most PCs, memory constraints, etc. Today, however, most of those issues are in the past, which means that you now can watch TV on your PC while simultaneously doing other tasks.

I currently pay about $80/month for my dish subscription and I am not able to get anywhere near the amount of programming that I get with Satellite TV for PC! Think of the money you could save if you applied this technology!
