The next thing is that there are various countries that need to be defended or conquered, and it’s up to you to decide on what to do. The beauty of it all is that the gameplay is so easy to get accustomed to that even rookie to the turn-based strategy games can easily figure out what’s going on. There is only one resource to worry about and there are only eighteen units to master. It is noteworthy that all the units were created by developers in rather reasonable way: to make the game more attractive. One may say that they could reach this target, as MAN 2 really catches and leaves the indelible impression. 
Finding someone to combat is incredibly easy thanks to the excellent interface. All you have to is pick the skill level of the opponent you want, the turn limit, and then you’ll have an opponent in a short amount of time. Or, if you’d like, you can just browse through the people who are looking for an opponent, or you can simply find someone in the chat-room.
Massive Assault Network 2 is definitely one of the best looking games in the genre. There are currently twenty one planets to play on, each offering a different visual theme and style of play. Wasserland, for example, offers large scale naval combat opportunities, while The Station Thunder focuses on quick, land-based battles. Each 3D map contains subtle, graphical details: palm trees sway in the breeze, waves wash up on shore. These subtleties help to create an illusion of a living, continuous world within the fantastical environment. As you might expect, topography plays a key role in planning your strategy.
One more good advantage of this gameplay is that you don’t need to devote a lot of time to the game at one sitting. You won’t have to spend an hour or three every single night, sitting at your PC moving, or watching your opponent move. You get your turn, watch the replay at different speeds or skip it completely if you desire, then take your turn, and send it off.
At times the game charms by its mesmeric sounds. The music sometimes reminds like-Terminator session of stunning tones, giving rise to emotions. The voices in MAN 2 do for AI image completely. In a game that intends to hold you captive for as many hours as a day job, it’s good that the music is not intrusive. Sound effects are also subtle but effective in the same way.
Generally everything in the game was thought over till the very small detail: the possibility to use the chess clock time system and watch each other actions in the real time, innovative on-line play mode and the ranking, based on Gliko rating system.
If you’re new to turn-based games then Massive Assault Network 2 is an appropriate game to commence with. The graphics are bewitching, the community is considerate and the game doesn’t bog you down with superfluous gameplay mechanics. If you’re a fan of playing turn-based games against other people, then this is one title definitely worthy of your attention.
