ACM grants free access to classical books on computing machinery and systems

The Association for Computing Machinery or ACM has published on its Web site more than a dozen classical books the theory of computing engines and systems.
The organization of ACM was founded in the far 1947 and today brings together 83 thousand professionals in the computers area.
AFS publishes a large number of thematic journals, and its website contains materials on the numerous conferences, meetings of working groups, and so on. However, the access to most publications had been granted before only to members of ACM or at subscription.
Now from the site of ACM you can download works of most respected authors for free. In addition, ASM opened separate publications of the companies of Apple and IBM.
The publications date from the years 1958-1995.
