ALT Linux 4.1 Children: beta version

The company ALT Linux has recently announced releasing the beta version of the distribution ALT Linux 4.1 Children. The product is meant for children's creativity: they can use it individually or under the supervision of a teacher of computer graphics and digital video.
The program has the format of Live CD: it requires no installation on your hard disk, and can work immediately after downloading. ALT Linux 4.1 Children is a step forward in the line of ALT Linux Children, aimed to teach children the basics of Â«homeÂ» computer graphics in an entertaining way.
The program offers learning courses of graphics, animation, and video. There is a developmental center of GSompris for children older than 4 years, containing a variety of modules. There is also a key-board simulator available.
The product lacks office apps, email clients, and other excessive products.
