ATI Catalyst 8.1: new drivers

The first in this year drivers for ATI video cards have been released. The drivers are designed for video cards of the series Radeon HD 3800, HD 2900 HD 2600, HD 2400, X1950, X1900, X1800, X1600, X1300, X1050, X850, X800, X700, X600, X550, X300, 9800, 9700, 9600, 9650 and 9500 . The drivers work under Windows XP and Windows Vista (32 - bit and 64 - bit versions).
The latest version adds support of the MultiView option, which provides the same performance of 3D applications when running on the main and additional graphic adapters. MultiView is supported under Windows XP, Windows Vista and Linux for video cards Radeon HD 3870, 3850, 2900, 2600, 2400, 2350, 2300, X1950, X1800, X1650, X1600, X1550, X1300. In addition, this release fixes bugs in some games.
