Dr Web for Mac OS X: core and additional features

The company Dr Web, the Russian developer of information security, announced beginning of beta-testing the Dr.Web anti-virus for Mac OS X, is installed on Macintosh computers with Intel processor.
Dr.Web for Mac OS X provides a number of useful features. In particular, Dr.Web scanner allows rapid system scanning, as well as all external media connected to it. In the event of a threat, Dr.Web displays a warning and gives you an opportunity to choose a possible action (such as cure/delete/put in quarantine), or use automatic Dr.Web action intended for this type of malware. This version for Mac OS X also provides additional features, among them being setting quarantine time period, creating lists of files & folders to scan.
There is a special component called License Manager, a convenient and easy mechanism for managing licenses. Through it you can get a demo or license key and also extend your license.
You can update the program`s database for Mac OS X manually or according to schedule.
