Final Fantasy immensely popular in Japan

Final Fantasy is still the most popular game in Japan. And the release of Final Fantasy Dissidia for the PSP only proved the obvious fact. This Fighting with characters of the known universe showed great sales of 489,126 copies in the first week of sales.
Influence of Dissidia proved so great that the game even helped to sell 145,957 of the consoles.
Here is the list of best-selling games in Japan for recent time:
1. Dissidia Final Fantasy (PSP) - 489,126 copies;
2. Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 (PS3) - 176,448 copies;
3. Kirby Super Star (DS) - 149,643 copies;
4. Animal Crossing: City Folk (Wii) - 144,530 copies;
5. Tales of Hearts (DS) - 123,622 copies;
6. Wagamama Fashion Girls Mode (DS) - 99,887 copies;
7. Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 2 (PS2) - 99,696 copies;
8. Pokemon Platinum (DS) - 85,849 copies;
9. Fate / Unlimited Codes (PS2) - 82,873 copies;
10. Momotarou Dentetsu: 20-Shuunen (DS) - 79,717 copies.
