Fraps 2.9.4: best for the gamer
24th January 2008
A new version of the interesting program designed for use in DirectX or OpenGL games has come out. The program can be used as a test for performance - playing the game, you can see the current value of frames per second in the corner. These statistics can be saved. In addition, the program can be used for capturing the screen, with saving not only screenshots but also video files. Graphic files are automatically saved on the hard drive with a specific name and time of creation, and video files can be recorded with a resolution of up to 2560x1600.
The latest version adds the codec 64-bit Fraps FPS1, adds support of high resolution (up to 2560x1600) for the single-core processors, improves compatibility with third-party graphics utilities, corrects errors arising from Vista SP1.
