FreeBSD 6.3: new OS

FreeBSD Release Engineering Team has recently announced the release of the popular operating system Unix FreeBSD 6.3. This OS is typically used on servers, meant to work with websites and e-mail systems. FreeBSD Release Engineering Team reported that the new version increases the OS core performance and the system stability on the whole. In addition, several vulnerabilities have been corrected, new features and support of the new hardware have been added. The main software innovations relate to the new graphic environments KDE and GNOME, which were now updated to version 3.5.8 and 2.20.1, respectively. Bind package for names extensions has been updated to version 9.3.4 and the sendmail mail-master - to version 8.14.2.
FreeBSD 6.3 will be supported until January 31, 2010. The OS was released for processor architectures alpha, amd64, i386, pc98, and sparc64.
They managed to increase the speed of data transmission via Infrared port by 250 times!
