Indiana Jones: alive or dead?

IGN claims with the reference to many reliable sources, that LucasArts froze a new game on Indiana Jones adventures. This sad news turned out extremely shocking for the genre fans. People from Joystiq decided to contact LucasArts and find out the truth.
As it turns out, the company is fully loyal to the project. It is unlikely that the project is dead, however, it is not full of life either.
To sum up, we can not state anything until we see a teaser-trailer with our own eyes.
