Kantaris 0.3.0: alternative to Windows Media Player

The player of Kantaris has been updated. By its appearance and functionality the program resembles a standard Windows Media Player. To play video Kantaris uses the client Videolan (VLC), which gives the opportunity to play almost any file without installing codecs. Unlike VLC, Kantaris supports many audio formats, including MP3, WMA, OGG, MIDI, AC3, AAC, MP4 and FLAC. The player is compatible with DVD and audio disks.
The latest version adds the capability to play files packed in rar-archives without having to unpack them, changes interface, improves subtitle support, enhances stability.
