Microsoft opens .Net Framework codes

Microsoft said that will allow third-party developers to check the source code for the .Net Framework libraries to help in creating better applications. To do this, the developers will have first to get the platform Visual Studio 2008. The project was named .Net Reference Source. It contains .Net Base Class Libraries, including System, System.CodeDom and System.ComponentModel; ASP.Net, including System.Web.Extensions; Windows Forms and Windows Presentation Foundation. Also ADO.Net and XML are offered. For the first time, Microsoft started talking about the project in October last year, over the next weeks and months, the company will add libraries LINQ (Language Integrated Query) and Windows Communication Foundation.
.Net Reference Source was planned to be released last month, but Microsoft decided to extend the feedback and discussions with the developers. According to Microsoft, the launched project â€œprovides a much better understanding of how the libraries operate .Net Framework and allows you to create better applications improving their useâ€.
