Resistance 2 is announced

We have guessed about the existence of the sequel of Resistance: Fall of Man for a long time already, but officially the project became known only now, thanks to Game Informer.
According to the magazine, Resistance 2 will have the two plot campaigns, extensive multiplayer mode supporting 60 gamers, a cooperative of eight people. According to unconfirmed data, the multiplayer will contain three classes of characters: the "tank", the "commandos" and the "medic". The continuation will also introduce unusual vehicles, including alien Stalker, which can become invisible.
Resistance 2 is coming out in 2008 on PlayStation 3.
