River Past Video Perspective 7.6.5: adjusting video to the screen
26th January 2008
The main purpose of this program is to change the format of the image on video. Basic image formats that are used today are 4:3 (the so-called LetterBox) and the widescreen 16:9. When running on the large-screen video in the usual format looks somewhat different than we are accustomed to see it - all pieces look incredibly thick. If, vice versa, we run video in the 4:3 format on the big screen, the objects become thinner. This occurs because of the image size rations disparity in a variety of formats.
River Past Video Perspective makes it possible to change the format of video images. When converting large video into the usual, edges will be cropped, and when converting video in the format of LetterBox into the 16:9 format, the edges, on the contrary, will be added with black strips.
