Second beta of AVG 8.0

The GRISOFT Company, a developer of AVG antivirus family, has introduced the second beta version of AVG 8.0 for Windows.
The new version improves multitasking; now the scanning module combines the functions of antivirus and spyware detection program. AVG 8.0 has the following features:
Protection against root-kits;
Protection against exploits;
Basic protection of MSN and ICQ Internet pagers ;
Protection from malware downloaded from web-sites.
Also, this version changes the interface.
