2nd January 2010
Federal Bureau of Investigation`s former CIO has said in one interview that the government that it should make as well as implement such a plan for the cybersecurity that will be a comprehensive one. Zal Azmi, who is the former CIO of FBI, call had come few days back before the name of the cybersecurity coordinator was given by President Obama. Azmi said that strategically the thing which is missing is the actionable sort of game plan. Azmi is now working as the senior vice president of the group for cyber solutions of government contractor CACI. He said that he was having so many of the studies regarding this in his office that nobody could even think of, but there comes the need of more focus and cocern. What we require is to put our heads together and then we can actually get the plan what should be adopted.
There had been numerous plans for the cybersecurity which were put forward by the government in the past few year, which also includes the National Strategy for Securing the Cyberspace of the year 2004 and the most comprehensive of all plans the National Cyber-security Initiative of the year 2008. The plans had been burned down or they have just disappeared from the sight of the public.
