World of Warcraft against Leukaemia
25th January 2009
How much does it costs to be crazy about WoW? Definitely, a lot. Just think. You have to pay for the game itself, then pay a monthly subscription fee, then spend your precious money on various addons. But everything can change: the rumor has it, that a lottery is being held for a lifetime subscription to the project.
This lottery is organized by Leukaemia and Lymphoma Society. Anyone donating to the fund $25 gets a chance to win a lifetime access to the product. The initiative belongs to a Blizzard employee, Katherine Allen. She is, in fact, responsible for the whole event.
The lottery has only one jackpot, but two other randomly selected people can get 12 months of free gaming, as well.
