AbiWord 2.6.6: free text editor

The free open source program of AbiWord has been updated. It is an alternative to MS Word and also runs under Linux, QNX, FreeBSD, Solaris.
You can expand this text editor features by means of plugins. AbiWord supports reading and editing documents of MSOffice, OpenDocument, RTF, WordPerfect, HTML and also has a built-in module of spelling check. The product is multilingual.
This version offers you absence of errors related to scrolling and improved importer OpenDocument.
