Assassin`s Creed supports DirectX10
29th February 2008
PCGH has officially confirmed that the computer port of the game Assassin`s Creed will support DirectX10. However, the transfer to the new technology will bring no major visual benefits. So, if your machine is able to provide only DX9, there is nothing to worry about. Assassin`s Creed looks very decent. Dust medieval cities, crowds of passers, great open territories. The main advantage of this product is the possibility of the main character named Altair to climb nearly perpendicular walls and jump from one roof to another.
Of course, Assassin`s Creed does have many shortcomings as well. Among them there is too simplified fighting system, monotonous gameplay. But these things are unlikely to spoil your fun from a trip on the virtual world.
Microsoft will soon test IE 8
