Authors of Flower speak of the game renaissance

Jenova Chen from the company thatgamecompany has recently given an interview to MTV Multiplayer where he spoke out on his own opinion about the game industry. He says that digital games distributing services, such as PSN, Xbox Live, WiiWare or Steam, have become a good ground for creating unique computer entertainments.
While companies spend heaps of money on expensive projects, young and gifted developers have a great opportunity to create unique and, what is most important, cheap games protected from piracy. Such pieces of games art as Flower, Braid and PixelJunk Monsters are the most vivid example of a real games renaissance, believes Chen.
