Google Company has made a number of changes in security means of the corporate e-mail service, which is available to users of online office pack Google Apps Premier Edition, which includes applications Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar, and Google Talk and Start Page.
Google has integrated to the mail system the security means, purchased in Postini Company. Users, in particular, will be able to tune antispam and antivirus filters, and also within 90 days to recover accidentally deleted letters. The price of subscription to Google Apps Premier Edition is $ 50 a year. For additional 3 dollars a year counting on one user, Google will provide a feature of filtering spam and messages containing malicious software. For $ 12 on each user they add the improved antivirus scanner and the advanced functions of postal flows management to the filtering service. Finally, for the additional $ 25 a year, Google will provide mail archiving and archives search, News.com reports. It will be recalled that the private firm Postini, specializing in the development of software for the protection of e-mail and Internet pagers from viruses and spam, has been perchased by Internet-giant Google last year for 625 million dollars.
Over 10 millions of private persons and 35000 companies worldwide use Postini solutions, including retailers of Circuit City Stores and Dillard's. After absorbing the company, Google has continued to support Postini clients.
