Blizzard condemned “virtual gold-diggers” Peons4Hire.com

Blizzard Company has carried a case against In Game Dollar firm that owns Peons4Hire.com site.
A suite between Blizzard and the so-called “virtual gold-diggers”, in the person of In Game Dollar began in May of last year. In Game Dollar built its business on the collection of game currency in multiuser game World of Warcraft, with the following sale of it for the very real money. Since the extraction of game resources is very tiresome and time-consuming process, many players prefer instead of spending their own forces and time, to spend money for the purchase of a virtual currency. However, the activity of gold merchants is a violation of user agreement, which all players accept (usually without reading) in World of Warcraft.
Last spring, Blizzard filed a lawsuit against the owners of Peons4Hire.com site, accusing them of illegal activity. The lawsuit, in particular, noted that the firm In Game Dollar violates the terms of user agreement and prevents many players by spam messages. This leads to the fact that Blizzard has to spend resources on tracking violators, which finely has a negative impact on its earnings.
As it reported now, Blizzard Company has obtained the resolution which forbids In Game Dollar firm to make a profit out of the subscribers of World of Warcraft. Besides, the court banned In Game Dollar to carry out any activity aimed at creating Web services, similar to Peons4Hire.com site. By the way, at the time of preparing the material Peons4Hire.com resource didn`t work.
It must be noted that Peons4Hire.com was not the largest seller of virtual properties in World of Warcraft - but certainly one of the most obtrusive: this “service” consistently vexed the users by flows of advertisements and the obtrusion of their own services. Perhaps, after the victory over Peons4Hire.com Blizzard Company will try also to eliminate the other similar services.
