Critical errors found in Windows 7

People participating in beta-testing of Windows 7, reported on serious failures in the system.
As it turned out, the failure more often consists in unexpected completion of the processes of explorer.exe and msiexec.exe. The cause of the malfunction was found in the client module of the quality control service of SQM (Software Quality Management). The module SQM is an integral part of a complex technology for improving quality of CEIP (Customer Experience Improvement Program). At the moment, any process which appeals to the WinSqmStartSession function in the dynamic library ntdll.dll, breaks the system if the two conditions are present: dynamic power limit of the Machine Throttling processor is activated in the registry; the service of CEIP is launched. The failures can lead to different consequences: sometimes victims even had to re-install the OS. There are already two ways out suggested.
The first method is to remove all entries except for Default in the registry branch called HKLM \ Software \ Microsoft \ SQMClient \ Windows \isabledSessions. The second way requires disabling the service of CEIP in the Local Group Policy Editor.
