Downloading Windows XP SP 3 RC2 is officially authorized

Having finally realized that, despite all attempts to limit access to the test build of Windows XP SP3 it is virtually impossible, Microsoft has opened Windows XP SP 3 RC2 Build 3300 for free downloading. Frankly speaking, this step of the company is difficult to be called efficient.
For having the test build, you must download a small script, weighing 38 KB. All previous test versions of SP3 must be removed from the computer. The build is recommended to be installed into licensing activated Windows XP. As with any other test version, Microsoft advises to backup files and settings before installing.
As developments of Vista SP1 and Windows Server 2008 SP1 have been already completed, Microsoft is sure to finish XP SP3 in the near future, as well.
