AOL Inc. made us “happy” once again. Alternative client for ICQ network were blocked. And at the moment this relates not only to QIP, but also to several other programs that have not been updated by developers for a long time. The problem consists in changes made to the protocol, especially that part of it which affects the process of identifying the client in the network. Fortunately, some programs have the function of substituting an application`s ID. QIP is one of such programs.
In the near future new builds of QIP 2005 and QIP Infinum are expected.
