FreeRIP 3.06: compression without loss

A new version of the simply ripper-compressor has come out. The program contains built-in encoders LAME (MP3) and Ogg Vorbis, can convert already existing WAV file in one of these formats. The program provides two modes of operation: one file and batch processing. You can set volume level during ripping or compression. FreeRIP supports an online database freedb and automatic filling in tags, so if there is a connection to the Internet, all data on the title of the album, artist and track name can be filled in automatically. The program is available in more than 25 languages.
The program is distributed in two versions: free and commercial. The commercial version has a feature of more quickly ripping and conversion, as well as the opportunity to run several copies of the program at the same time. Developer: MGShareware
