Gmail offline version from Google

One of the most expected Gmail features was embodied by Google developers. Pretty soon you will be able to work with mail without connecting to the internet. All you need to do is to install the expansion of Google Gears to your browser.
Google Gears is already being used to provide offline access to a number of Web-applications from Google, such as Reader RSS, Docs or Zoho. The developers say that the expansion can cache information from Gmail to your hard drive either partially or completely. Thus, the user can view, edit, sort, and write letters without connecting to the internet. Once you get connected, Google Gears automatically synchronizes with the server.
The main advantage of Google Gears is that you do not need to install a separate application.
