Human Body Model: modeling human body in 3D

The system was developed by the Amsterdam company Motek Medical. It may be useful for those having particular passion for fitness or those who need to undergo exercise therapy after a serious illness.
The program is a 3D image of a human body which shows highlighted muscles groups involved in this or that exercise. Patients performing a set of exercises need to put on a special costume. It is equipped with 47 reflective clothing markers that indicate the location of different muscles. Used simulators can also be equipped with special sensors to gather additional information on the attached effort and strain on joints. Then all collected information is loaded to computer and gets visualized in the form of 3D model, updated online.
