IBM criticized Mac OS X security
26th February 2009
Experts in the field of info protection from the group of IBM X-Force published an annual report on the results of their research. According to the report, Mac OS X is the most vulnerable system out of all existing ones. The Analysts drew this conclusion by having determined the percentage ratio between the total number of discovered vulnerabilities and those that were eliminated through patches. The thorough analysis of the operating systems Mac OS X and OS X Server showed that each of them contains 14 % of unsolved problems.
Microsoft owns the second position in the published rating with its 5.5% of unsolved gaps.
