Iris 1.1: mobile browser on WebKit engine

Torch Mobile reported on the availability of the new version of Iris Browser 1.1.0, a fast and universal mobile browser.
The application is based on the popular browser engine WebKit and demonstrates a tremendous speed of rendering web pages. Iris provides for extensive features of customizing user interface. Like the popular desktop browsers, Iris supports tabs and multi-window mode.
A list of the most significant improvements of the new version includes support of Flash Lite ActiveX, experimental support of RSS and SVG. Users are sure to appreciate increased performance and elaborated use of memory resources.
Manufacturers also reported that the Acid3 test showed that their product surpasses any existing mobile browser.
Iris Browser 1.1.0 runs under Windows Mobile (versions 5 and 6), Windows CE (versions 5 and 6), Qt embedded 2.3, Qtopia core 4.3 and Qtopia 4.3.
