Kodak Has Filed A Lawsuit Against Apple And RIM For The Breaching Of Their Patents

It has been said by Eastman Kodak, who is the photography giant that it has filed a lawsuit for the patent infringement against Research in Motion and Apple. It has also accused both of these companies that they have violated the patents on some of the particular technologies that are related to the digital imaging. It has been claimed in the papers that were filed by Kodak to the International Trade Commission of the United States that the cameras that are being built into the iPhones of Apple as well as the BlackBerrys of RIM have come over its patents on the technology which allows the users to preview the images. A separate lawsuit has also been filed by Kodak which is against Apple. This separate lawsuit was filed in the federal court of the U.S in New York which contends the iPhone that it rips off the digital camera and the technology of the computer processing.
Laura Quatela, who is the chief intellectual property officer of Kodak has said in one statement that there is a long history of Kodak when it comes to digital imaging innovation and the company has also invested hundreds of millions of the dollars while creating the patent portfolio which is leading in the whole industry.
