Microsoft fires people leaving its projects without support

Microsoft is planning to fire 5000 employees. This wave will touch the studio working on the oldest aircraft simulator Microsoft Flight Simulator - ACES Studio.
Gamasutra reports that majority of the unit`s staff located in Redmond, has already been discharged. By the way, this is the very studio that worked on Microsoft Train Simulator 2.
Thus, the question of jobless people turns into the matter of closing the two beloved projects. Microsoft now simply has no people to support the games.
