Mozilla launches Bespin trial version
28th February 2009
The developers from Mozilla Labs launched a trial version of the code editor, made in the form of a web-application. According to the developers, the main idea of this product is to obtain maximum compatibility with browsers based on open standards and requiring no installation of additions.
Bespin is written in JavaScript and is designed to edit source codes. Despite the fact that this is a web application, it has all qualities of traditional development tools, for example, implementation of joint work in real time. The main objective of launching this trial version is to check work speed with large files, as well as conducting various experiments.
