5th February 2008
Microsoft confirmed the existence of an error in Office 2008 for Mac, leading to security problems. Originally a Chicago consultant for Mac Joel Bruner pointed to assigning to any Mac user the identification number of 502, that means granting full administrative rights of access to any file created by means of the office package. This means that if PC has two or more accounts with different rights, the administrative access to Office 2008 documents will still be provided. Microsoft claims, that the patch will come out as soon as possible.
