Operation Flashpoint 2 and Armed Assault 2: coming out in 2008

Probably, it is difficult to create a game that would describe the fighting better than Operation Flashpoint. This project has a huge number of fans who eagerly waited for the appearance of its sequel. Unfortunately, after Bohemia Interactive “broke up” with Codemasters the official continued was never released. Everything must change with the release of Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising.
After the announcement at Games Convention 2007, no interesting material about the new product appeared in the net. We do hope that Dragon Rising will be released in 2008. Judging by the screenshots, the game promises to be beautiful and very realistic. This is demonstrated in a video teaser. The basic platforms are PC and consoles.
Meanwhile Bohemia Interactive is now working on its new series of Armed Assault, which, in fact, is the same Operation Flashpoint, hiding under the different name. The authors have already created an addon for the original product, and even managed to announce a sequel. The release is scheduled for 2008.
