Samsung launches Mobile Applications store

Samsung is likely to become the central company in the coming up Congress of MWC 2009. The South Korean manufacturer announced at least ten mobile phones and will launch a number of services, among them being an apps store.
The project is called Samsung Mobile Applications, it will be first launched in Great Britain. The store will offered free and commercial software, just like App Store.
At the beginning Samsung Mobile Applications will offer about 1 100 applications for Symbian S60 and Windows Mobile. After a while it will also sell apps for other platforms.
