Tabula Rasa: great failure

As it turned out, Richard Garriot`s Tabula Rasa (TR) failed. Nobody ever had great expectations that this MMORPG would become a commercial hit. Unfortunately, the sad fate of the project has had a negative impact on the future of NCSoft Austin Studio. The Korean authorities may reduce the local staff and sharply cut the funding. It is assumed that TR still has a chance to shoot in Japan, where the projects from Garriot are traditionally a success.
Note, that Tabula Rasa was not popular in Korean headquarters of NCSoft, as they thought that the project is allocated with too many resources.
