What BioShock`s developer thinks of game-plot

The speech of Ken Levine at GDC 2008 was looked forward. Once it did take place, the developer responsible for creation of BioShock, was surrounded by a crowd of colleagues with questions. The fact is that the theme raised by the specialist, as well as his attitude towards it caused quite a mixed reaction with people, tracking the industry.
Levine talked about plot in games. He said that that game-plot should be the simplest to keep gamers` attention. However, in pursuit of simple narration we should not forget about hardcore fans and people, only partly interested in what is happening in the virtual world. All these groups have been embraced in BioShock, which made the game popular both among the masses, and shooter fans and lovers of DeusEx and System Shock.
