Disturbing facts for Microsoft: their total share at the OS market is falling down. Meanwhile, Apple is celebrating the victory, as Mac OSX finally possesses 10% of the market.
In January, 88.3% of users surfed the net form machines running under Microsoft Windows, which is 0,42% less than in December 2007. In the last month Windowsâ€™s share fell down by 2.2%.
Anyway, analysts believe that Microsoft has a very good chance to improve the situation. The chance is called Windows 7 and it is already rather popular and has usersâ€™ credit. For instance, according to recent estimates, the number of computers running under Windows 7 has reached 0,22% of the total number of PCs.
