Windows Live Sky Drive: now stores up to 5 GB29th February 2008
Windows Live SkyDrive Service, intended to save files online, is no longer in beta stage and the corresponding flag was removed from its home page. With that, every user of the service was given an opportunity to store up to 5 GB of data on it (the maximum amount of data previously could not exceed 1 GB).
The service provides an opportunity to share data that are stored on the server to several categories: personal folders, available only to those who uploaded files; folders available to a limited number of users; and open folders, the contents of which are available to all.
