World of WarCraft earned $ 1 billion

Vivendi contends that its gaming unit Vivendi Games earned in 2007 € 1.02 billion, what is nearly by 26.6% more than in last year. The substantive gains were brought by Blizzard and its popular project World of WarCraft. According to the publishers, the company has invested in the overall score € 814 million, which is by 58% more than in 2007.
It should be recalled that now World of WarCraft has already more than 10 million official users. The game has already become a cultural phenomenon, has gained popularity not only in the United States and European countries but also in Asia. Another great product from Blizzard Entertainment should be the strategy StarCraft 2. After it, we look forward to the long-awaited release of Diablo 3.
