MessageLabs has released a considerably updated version of protection system against unwanted advertising messages. Main characteristics of service are enchanced customization and controlling options and a highly effective means of detection of advertising emails in mail traffic based on certificated technology Sceptic. The Sceptic is based on constantly updated and expanded information base and includes functions “self-education” and besides well-known anti-spam algorithms (such as Bayes algorithm), uses a unique developments of the company. The quality of protection against spam system MessageLabs is confirmed by numerous independent studies, the effectiveness of the previous version was about 96%. Announcing a new generation of its products, the company states that the system now gives 100% spam protection. On March 9, the company has released several major updates to its service, including Email Content Control 3.0 and Email Image Control 2.0 (identification of images contained in the letters).
