Company Activision has officially announced the purchase of multi-players technology developer, Demonware Company. Sunday Independent spread rumors about this purchase two weeks ago, having wrote then, that the contract is already on its final stage. The official announcement does not contain financial details, but according to the authors of the newspaper, amount of the transaction was about of â‚¬ 15 million. This way Activision openly announces enhance of their capacity in the area of on-line services and games. “In The following 2-4 years, we expect to see a significant increase of the whole on-line games sector, what should be the result of the introduction of new console services, - comments the transaction Mike Griffon, executive director of Activision. - DemonWare gives us with new opportunities to develop high-quality multi-players games. Their technologies, combined with ours will be a great relief for our development studios”.
