Adobe Creative Suite 3 will not run under Windows Vista
24th March 2007
In a week, a final release of Adobe Creative Suite 3 (CS3) will take place, meant for professional drawers, photographers and web-designers. According to the Adobe authorities, CS3 will not support Windows Vista. Adobe has released a document that provides information about the various operating systems the product will run under. In addition, according to information from Adobe, work with the Creative Suite 2.0 under Windows Vista "is not recommended ", and the CS2 itself will not include any updates for the Vista. “While some components, such as Adobe InDesign CS2, Illustrator CS2 and Photoshop CS2, in principle, cab be installed and run under Windows Vista, but, due to the OS peculiarities they work unstable, moreover, other components of CS2, such as Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional do not supports this OS at all" is written in the company`s report. As for the upcoming CS3, all its components will run under 32-bit Windows Vista (all editions), but Vista will be, though, absent in the list of officially supported OS. Besides, CS3 will fully support Mac platform based on Intel. "Another reason that we do not support Vista is the fact that very few of our customers are planning to use this OS," said Adobe representative Bruce Chizen.
