6th March 2007
In 10 years smells will be able to be transmitted via the Internet, and batteries for mobile phones will be able to work for up to two months without charges. This and other breakthroughs that will take place in IT industry very soon are said in the report of the Ministry of Information and Communication of South Korea, made by three and a half thousand IT experts, says France Presse. Specialists are sure that the World Wide Web will be able to transmit smells by 2015 in the form of digital information on the aromatic components and the way they should be mixed to get a needed smell. These data will then be activated by means of special aroma cartridge. Mobile phones will be able to work up to two months without charge even earlier, in 2012, and to 2018 robot-surgeons will be invented, able to transfer in the circulatory system. Korean experts also predict that by the year 2015 military camouflage will be replaced by bullet- and waterproof outfit. South Korea is one of the most advanced countries in the world in the sphere of high technologies. Over 70% of population are active internet users there.
