DataRecovery.com sold for $1.7

ESS Data Recovery Company, restoring data from the hard drives, RAID-arrays iPod- players, flash drives and other media, has bought the domain of DataRecovery.com. The amount of the transaction is remarkable: the company paid for it 1.7 million U.S., bypassing a competitor, the Associated Computers company.
Thus, the transaction became the largest of those held in domain business this year. ESS Data Recovery even had to take a loan at the bank to cover the cost of purchasing the domain. However, the companyâ€™s president believes that the cost will pay off very quickly, because such a domain has a large number of customers.
