First public beta-release of Outpost Security Suite Pro

As a whole Outpost Security Suite Pro is a complex proactive solution in the field of security which integrates a personal firewall with the innovation mechanism of security against harmful software â€œall-in-itâ€, â€œcleverâ€ spam-filter and the system of local security. In Outpost Firewall Pro were realized modules for protecting from spyware, from stealing of personal data and the leakage of information, such as ImproveNet service built by the efforts of Outpost user community. This service provides users with the access to a set of rules developed for the optimal configuration of the firewall and examined by the whole experts community in computer security. To provide complete security in Internet, Agnitum has added anti-virus features and spam filtering. In particular, the enhanced Outpost Security Suite Pro system prevents unauthorized activity; anticipating new attacks and blocking threats at the very beginning of the invasion. Anti-malware Outpost module combines in a single process the fight against spyware and viruses making the scanning influence marginally on the processes in the system. But for all that Outpost Security Suite Pro can detect any application interfering in its own processes. This guards the protection against deactivation or other means of stopping firewall by malicious software code. Beta version runs under Windows XP Home or Professional.
