GDC 07 : The truth about the dog in Fable 2

Populous and Black and White designer Peter Molyneux, spoke at Game Developers Conference 2007 (GDC), and gave an overview of the major innovations in the design of Fable 2. According to the author, his main task in developing the sequel consisted in making largest possible number of surprises and exciting moments. Lionhead is going to achieve this by means of three innovative solutions. The first two features are kept in secret, but the third secret was revealed. Is turned out, that the secret is in "emotions" and namely in ''love" , the virtual embodiment of which is being worked out by team of developers. The main character will be able to marry, have children and (attention!) play with the dog. Together with this pet, you will be able to run through the whole virtual world. Thanks to the new pet, users will be able to take part in unusual quests.
