GIMP 2.4.5 for Windows: graphic editor

A new version of GIMP has been released, a free image processing program, very popular in the Linux environment. Using GIMP you can perform tasks such as image processing, creating collages, copy protection, etc. The program supports work with channels and layers, alpha-channel, editable text layers; it has a lot of tools of painting and selecting. The program can also be used as a convenient tool for batch files conversion. GIMP`s features can be expanded by connecting additional modules to it (more than a hundred of them).
The latest version fixes bugs with export of PSD files, improves saving Exif data when creating JPEG files, improves filters, adds new hot keys.
